What will I learn?

The Pharmacology and Toxicology Program does not admit students with the expressed interest in pursuing the M.S. degree. However, for a variety of reasons students admitted to the Ph.D. Program may choose to complete an M.S. degree (non-thesis option) either 麻豆原创 or in lieu of a Ph.D. degree.

The College of Pharmacy offers a graduate program leading to a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Over twenty faculty participate in the program. Faculty research interests are in various areas of pharmacology (including cell signaling, G-protein receptors, chemotherapeutics, pharmacogenomics), toxicology (including hepatic, renal, pulmonary, neurotoxicity; metal toxicity, environmental toxicity, carcinogenesis), molecular pharmacology/toxicology, and drug development.
