Program Requirements
This degree is offered only as a Plan B master鈥檚 program requiring thirty-two credits, including a three-credit essay. The concentration in food service management includes courses in the School of Business Administration. Contact the Department for information on applicable courses. All course work must be completed in accordance with the regulations of the Graduate School and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
The courses offered by this department are designed for students in three distinct groups:
those majoring in nutrition and food science who are interested in entering either the nutrition, the food science and health care professions;
those interested in entering the dietetics field; and
those majoring in nutrition and food science with the intention of entering non-technical positions in a variety of food businesses.

Admission to this program is contingent upon admission to the Graduate School. Successful applicants shall have a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Undergraduate preparation should include basic courses in nutrition and food science.
