Developments in robotics and mechatronics are reshaping the modern world, with automated and autonomous systems, smart devices and systems changing how we do things at home, on the streets, and in factories.
This program is designed to establish and foster students鈥 technical knowledge, professional skills, and hands-on experience in this field to develop and harness viable engineering solutions to various challenges in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, robotic and mechatronic components and systems, intelligent manufacturing technologies and processes.
The first year of this highly sought-after degree of modern engineering provides a chance for students to establish and develop their knowledge, skills, and passion in the fundamentals of engineering before deciding which specialisation 鈥 at RMIT in Vietnam or in Melbourne 鈥 to pursue from their second year onward.
Students of this program have a wide range of options to specialise in various sub-areas of robotics and mechatronics engineering or other interdisciplinary areas, including:
Robotics and intelligent systems engineering
