You鈥檙e eligible if you're:

  • an international student
  • studying full-time
  • commencing your first semester at UQ
  • commencing a UQ Faculty of Science program (minimum one year duration). See the terms and conditions below for a full list of eligible programs.

And you:

  • have met the conditions of your offer by the scholarship鈥檚 closing date (you don鈥檛 need to accept your full offer by the scholarship application deadline)
  • demonstrate strong academic performance in your previous studies.

Students are shortlisted based on their

  • Academic excellence
  • Financial need/hardship

Selection criteria

We鈥檒l consider:

  • your academic performance (based on the academic credentials you submitted in your UQ Faculty of Science program application).
  • your capacity to create change and contribute to science (based on the personal statement you submitted in your scholarship application).
