Superior Academic Achievement
Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine - Particularly in the Speech-Language Pathology Specialization
Student must be continuing in the program
Based on demonstrated superior academic achievement
Based on demonstrated superior clinical achievement
Based on strong research potential
Based on intellectual curiosity and passion for learning
If there are no suitable candidates conducting stuttering research, students conducting research relating to the management of dementia and other neurologically based communication disorders will be considered
The scholarship may not be held concurrently with other scholarships relating to stuttering
The award is intended to assist in the execution and publication of a research project, thesis or dissertation in the area of stuttering, with preference given to projects that have potential to advance clinical practice
This award is non-renewable
The department may choose to offer this scholarship as 2 x CAN $2,500 at the Master's Level, or 1 x CAN $5,000 at the PhD Level
