Other eligibility requirements

Global Skills Opportunity is the Government of Canada’s national outbound student mobility pilot program. It aims to empower post-secondary institutions to increase the participation of Canadians in international learning opportunities – especially students with disabilities, Indigenous students, and those from low socio-economic backgrounds.

To be eligible, students must:

• Be accepted to and participate in an eligible education abroad program offered by MacEwan International;
• Have completed all pre-departure requirements set by MacEwan International;

Preference is given to students with disabilities and students in internship programs.

Disbursement Criteria

For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
