Eligibility & selection criteria: 

  • Full-time graduate students registered in their first term in the Master of Architecture Program in the School of Architecture in the Faculty of Engineering. 
  • Selection to be based on review of a student s 500-word research abstract as part of an application. It will be awarded annually to one student who is focusing their research locally within Waterloo Region or Wellington County.  
  • The School of Architecture will select recipients normally each Fall. 

Award description: 

A scholarship, valued at CAN $5000, will be awarded annually to a graduate student registered full time in the first term of their master's program in the School of Architecture in the Faculty of Engineering.

An application, including the abstract, must be submitted to the Coordinator of Graduate Studies and Research in the School of Architecture by October 31.
