Two scholarships valued at CAN $10,000, will be awarded annually to full-time female graduate students enrolled in a master鈥檚 program in the Faculty of Mathematics.

Mature students
Full-time female graduate students registered in a research-based master's program in the Faculty of Mathematics, wherein female students are underrepresented.
Underrepresented criteria for the Faculty of Mathematics is subject to annual review and may change as per framework from IAP and Dean's Council. In the event that women are no longer underrepresented within the Faculty of Mathematics, only the remaining eligibility will apply.
Students must be conducting research on assessment and/or mitigation of climate change.
Preference to be given to international students.
Selection will be based on a demonstrated passion for the environment and climate change.
Selection of a recipient will be made by a committee led by the Office of the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Mathematics normally each winter.
This scholarship will be in addition to any funding indicated in the offer of admission.
The scholarship will be paid in equal instalments across two or three academic terms.
