Department of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies
Nominees who started their program in the Spring term of the year of nomination are not eligible
Awarded to a student with high academic achievement
Preference given to nominees who have an area of study in Slavic Language and Literatures, Slavic Linguistics or Ukrainian Folklore
If no nominee satisfies, a student with demonstrable academic involvement in Slavic & East European subject may be forwarded (explanation of involvement must accompany the nomination)
Open to Canadian citizens.

Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
Open to applicants in masters programs.
Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
