Other eligibility requirements

For the Entrance Scholarship, the value of each scholarship shall be determined by the Faculty Scholarship Committee, upon recommendation of the MFin Admissions Committee based on academic merit and background at the time of admission and funding availability.  Financial need may also be taken into consideration.  In any event, the value of each scholarship shall not be less than HK$10,000.

The Scholarship shall be awarded based on the following criteria: 

• Academic performance in the first three modules of the relevant academic year; 
• Participation in the extracurricular activities arranged by the programme office and the career and enrichment teams, including, but not limited to, industry seminars, career workshops and student activities, in the first three modules of the relevant academic year; 
• Recommendations from the course instructors of the first three modules in the relevant academic year on the course performance and class participation; and 
• Level of support provided to the programme office in marketing and admissions efforts, student activities and other programme-related initiatives.
