One scholarship is offered for the 2025-26 academic year worth GBP 12,940.00 to fund full tuition fees for a home student.
The scholarship is open to applicants who have been accepted onto the 2025-26 intensive MSc Demography & Health.
Applicants must meet the School鈥檚 minimum English language proficiency requirements if shortlisted for this funding.
Applicants are expected to have other funding to cover their living and travel costs. This scholarship can only provide home student tuition fees, as advertised.

The application process has two steps. To be considered for the funding, applicants must meet all eligibility criteria and complete both steps outlined below by the scholarship deadline of 23:59 (GMT) on Wednesday 26 March 2025.

Step 1
Submit an application for 2025-26 for a MSc Demography & Health, as per instructions under the 鈥楬ow to Apply鈥� tab on the programme study page.
Step 2
Once you have submitted an application to study you should receive an automated email from the Scholarships Team (scholarships@lshtm.ac.uk) providing you with the link to our online scholarships application portal.
This will provide you with a temporary password to use the first time you login (via e-vision), which you should then update.
Please search for 鈥楤asia Zaba Memorial Scholarship鈥� if you wish to apply for this funding, and then answer all the questions online. Once you are happy with all your responses you can press submit and you should receive a confirmation of receipt email at your contact email address.
The scholarships portal will not be able to accept applications after the deadline stated above.
