Full and part-time students undertaking the MA Global Development and Humanitarian Practice are able to apply for this scholarship. It is a single award of £1000 to be used to contribute to their course fees.
Applicants who are unable to pay full fees to undertake studies with us despite excellent motivations, work experience and academic credentials can apply for this funding. International applicants should have applied for/completed their IELT English language tests as per the entry requirement of Oxford Brookes University. Those who have completed their IELT will be given preference.
The Faculty’s postgraduate scholarships are awards made towards tuition fees only. It is therefore important that applicants clearly identify how they intend to raise the additional funding necessary to cover living costs, travel, textbooks, other ancillary costs and any additional fees, should the tuition fees be higher than the amount of scholarship available.
Eligibility criteria
All international students studying full or part-time on the MA Global Development and Humanitarian Practice Scholarship are eligible to apply.
Applicants failing to comply with these procedures will not be considered for the scholarship.
Applications will be reviewed according to the applicant's experience in the sector, motivation to study and contributions to their own country/global context.

Applicants must complete the appropriate Scholarship Application Form. Applicants should complete the application form once only, indicating all scholarships they wish to apply for – applicants must however check their eligibility and required criteria for each.
Scholarship applications must be accompanied by a personal statement in the section provided which must clearly identify why the applicant believes they are deserving of the scholarship.
No late applications will be accepted.
