The HE Care Leaver Bursary is a grant of 拢1000 paid in one instalment in October to eligible students.

This bursary supports care-experienced or estranged students.
You must be a Care Experienced or Estranged student:
In care after age 14 for at least 3 months
You must be in a full-time undergraduate course
You must be a home student
You must be under 25 at the start of your course
You need to apply separately for this scholarship
To apply, use the online form and provide evidence that you meet the criteria. You can apply for both the HE Maintenance Bursary and the HE Care Leaver Bursary. Applying does not guarantee an award because funds are limited.
