Applicants must be undergraduate or postgraduate students of the University engaged in study in the fields of Ceramics or Irish/Celtic Studies.
Established in memory of Richard K. Degenhardt, these scholarships offer financial support to students studying Ceramics or Irish/Celtic Studies.
Three international scholarship awards are presented annually to either undergraduate or postgraduate students of the University engaged in study in the fields of Ceramics or Irish/Celtic Studies. Irish/Celtic Studies is a wide category that includes students of music, literature, history, geography and media studies if the focus of their research or study encompasses Irish and Celtic issues.
Selected scholars will receive financial support to undertake further specialist research in their area of expertise. This includes help with travel costs to attend courses and visit exhibitions abroad or simply to assist with living expenses throughout periods of research.
