The Care Leavers Transition Bursary and Care Leaver Annual Support Bursary are available to those who meet the definition of a care leaver: a young person who: has been in the care of, or been given accommodation by, their Local Authority (LA) for a period of at least 13 weeks before the age of 16 and has not reconciled with their parents between leaving care and starting their course. The Transition Bursary is a one of payment of 拢500 and the Annual support bursary is 拢1,800.
