A perfect place to grow

Chalmers is a perfect set of academic and social life for me. It is a place to study but also have fun. There is no failure at Chalmers, there is always the opportunity to improve continuously, either for the university or for the students. They are very supportive of their students equally, such as the innumerable scholarships for international students and also student facilities and accommodation. I also like how Chalmers allows its students to expand their network to industries and also to the international environment. 

Chalmers is a perfect set of academic and social life for me. It is a place to study but also have fun. Overall, the best place to study

I met Chalmers University of Technology during an exchanging programme during my bachelor and after this pleasant experience, I decided to come back for my master studies, receiving a scholarship to pay my tuition fees. 

The professors are highly qualified for teaching the courses. They are are always punctual and very well prepared with each session content, having most of the times available material written by them and extra material if someone is more interested in the topic. 

If you are looking to enter to the working field after your master studies, Chalmers is the best option for you since it is really well rated in reputation in Sweden and it also has lots of connections and projects with global companies.

If you never see you'll never know

Chalmers is more than just a university. It gives us more than knowledge. At first, I thought I would only be studying so hard and would have no time for anything else due to studies and thesis. However, I was so wrong. Chalmers promotes more than just knowledge, they give experience both theoretical and practical. I've enjoyed life during these few months I've been here more than I have been in my own country for the past 20 years. It's true that if you never come out of your comfort zone, you will never see the whole picture and grasp what it is you are missing out on. I've never been to parties or drinking before, but Chalmers is not a nerd university, we have fun like festU parties are the best. Chalmers also have lots of seminars and workshop and luncheons where we get to meet cool people that are successful or companies that are successful. We get lots of chances to meet different people by joining events in Chalmers. Just reading this from me might not be believable that is why you should try to get out of your comfort zone and try it for yourself and see how great it is. Don't look through my eyes, but look through your own. I hope you will enjoy it as much or more than I do.

A World of Opportunity

I am loving my experience so far at Chalmers. There are countless things to do including career fairs, pub crawls, trivia nights, movie nights, and dancing. Or you can join a committee helping the student union run these many activities on campus. The students are highly committed to their studies and their extracurricular activities, providing a top-notch services. The classes so far have been great, providing the right amount of theory and hands-on experience, as well as bringing people from industry to talk about how they are using the research of the acoustics field.  One of my favourite talks was from a sound engineer working for the BBC discussing binaural audio.

Chalmers is a perfect place for ambitious students, it is offering a lot of knowgledge, stuff is very competent and welcoming. Campus Johanneberg is very attractive place for students, there a lot of activities, you can join student divisions, there are nice places to eat and drink coffee or hot chocolate :) Social life is very intensive and every person can find something in their interest. What is more, there are also movie night (which I love) and free student sauna and a lot more! Chalmers surprised me how much it have to offer students! Absolutely recommend <3

Chalmers is the best!

I can鈥檛 really speak to the job prospects since I鈥檝e only been here for 5 months and am only studying right now. But I can say that the school is amazing. The spirit of the school, it鈥檚 community, academics, and social life are great! I love how international it is. You meet people from all over the world and everyone is so open minded. There is no hierarchy in the education so all the teachers are approachable. They鈥檙e available to talk if you have concerns about anything. Furthermore, it鈥檚 a perfect work-life balance (especially compared to the US where I am from haha). Chalmers offers so much more than a great education. It offers an experience! And one of the best life experiences at that!!

My experience at Chalmers

I have to say that throught all my academic life I have had the chance to study in many different countries and many different universities and so far the university I have felt more welcomed both by the admissions staff and by students organizations has been Chalmers, there are many groups and committees you can join and truly feel your belonging. Even tho I have not required funding and scholarships and I cannot give my personal experience about it, I am well aware there are many scholarships and opportunities to finance your studies. Chalmers has a high reputation and experience for linking academia with the industry and that reflects on why most students find great professional opportunities, they also promote this in job fairs held at Chalmers University, the only aspect I would suggest for improvement is for Swedish companies to hand out more information in english for international students.
