Stimulating, cutthroat academic environment with a diverse student body and great professors
Great campus! The courses are challenging and diverse, just as I had expected. However, the people you meet, and the experiences you have, far outweigh the course load. It's a great opportunity for anyone, especially for international students like myself. The city of Spokane is very welcoming, people are friendly and polite which makes the move across the world much easier. I would recommend this school to anyone who thrives in a competitive environment.

Strategy, Management and Leadership
The MBA program at EWU gives you a comprehensive look at business strategy, management and leadership skills, and provides opportunities to apply your skills and abilities with this new information to solve complex real-world issues. Probably the most important thing I learned was about myself - that "no man is an island", and I am at my best when I work collaboratively with other professionals with complementary skills and knowledge. There are some truly world class professors involved in the MBA program - my advice would be to embrace the challenges presented by the more "difficult" professors because those experiences are the ones that will stick with you.

I love it!
It is a very nice university. All courses that are offered in MBA program at EWU were useful for my future career and were taught by experienced professors. Most of all I enjoyed Business Strategy, Business Forecasting and Corporate Finance classes. I also liked library at EWU because even if the EWU鈥檚 library did not have some book, I could get it through the interlibrary loan. The good thing about studying and living in the USA is that public transportation system is very good, which is very important for international students, who are, in general, do not have cars. Also, I was very pleased to meet many people from my native country Ukraine, because there is a huge community of people from former USSR countries.

Good experience with flexibility
I did not gain any funding or scholarship personally from the university but I did receive tuition reimbursement from my employer. Although, my MBA in HR looks great on my resume I continue to have difficulties in finding a job, due to the fact that I do not have prior work experience. My suggestion would be to find part-time work in the field you intend to do your studies so that it can assist you in job prospecting when you exit the program. I worked full-time and had 2 kids during my 4.5 years of obtaining my MBA, but since I do not have experience in the industry it has been difficult. Overall, the program is good. I like the flexibility in class schedule while working full-time. There can be some improvements to adjust to the working person with a family but you gain a lot from other students and gain friendship through the program.

EWU, providing the resources you need to excel
I had great experience at Eastern and enjoyed the diverse staff and experiences the program offered. The program is team oriented and is structured in a way that encourages the development of soft skills while enhancing knowledge and hard skills. My advice would be to have a specific career plan when you start the program so you can tailor your experience to your goals and interests.

a sophisticated course setting and friendly enronment
I like that the MBA program at EWU has a sophisticated course setting in which students are able to use knowledge gained through previous classes during the program courses. In addition, the faculty members have real world business experiences to provide us advanced studies. Finally, the program has small class sizes and a friendly environment for international students.

Excellent program with quality faculty at a reasonable cost.
I was extremely impressed with the MBA program at EWU. The quality of the education and the knowledge of the faculty surpassed my expectations, as I found the course work both engaging and challenging. What鈥檚 more, in the collaborative environment fostered at EWU, I was able to hone my interpersonal skills and develop rewarding relationships with my peers.

Take advantage of an opportunity of a lifetime, you will not be disappointed!
With the introduction of this new International Degree program to be coupled with your MBA from Eastern Washington University there is a great opportunity for students to get real rewarding international experience and gain a second masters degree within the course of a semester while studying in Schmalkalden Germany. Taking advantage of this dual degree has probably been one of the most beneficial decisions I have made in my life. I never took to heart the advise that I had gotten from others telling me to travel abroad and experience another country's culture. Now that I have traveled to, studied and lived in another country it is truly amazing the new, much broader perspective I have of the world and the people that live in it. This is a new program for Eastern Washington University and they are still working out some of the finer details of this process. However, for being one of the first of two students to take advantage of the dual degree the whole process has gone very smooth with much help and understanding from both EWU and the University of Applied Sciences Schmalkalden. The study experience in Schmalkalden was very rewarding. The course content and classmates created a great multicultural atmosphere in which students and instructors are able to discuss multiple different viewpoints from around the world with in the context of the course material. This begins to paint not only a bigger picture of the business world but also a bigger picture of culture throughout the world. Schmalkalden is a smaller town, which is located in the center of Germany in the countryside. The town is a great traditional German town with many small cafes, restaurants, and pubs all of which are in walking distance from the school. There are great opportunities for hiking and castle viewing. There is a regional train, which you are allowed to ride for free with the price of your tuition. The big cities are all accessible by train making it easy to visit Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, or really any place that you wish. Before taking advantage of this dual degree I did have a couple of job prospects, which were very promising. After completing my international studies and returning to the U.S. these job prospects are even more interest in having me work for them. Also a few new possible job prospects, which I am looking into, have shown interest solely due to the fact of my international experience. The doors to job opportunities have opened even wider now that I have some international experience in my background. This is a great opportunity for you to get two degrees, gain some international experience, and truly have a trip of a lifetime. The most important advice I can give is if you have the means to take advantage of this opportunity, just do it! I do not regret one bit of my decision to take advantage of this experience, and I do not believe you will regret it either.
