Overall experience

Such a transformative experience (BSM and MBA)

I initially joined as a BSM student while running my company.  My goal was to bring the best business practices to better manage my team and operation, as well as explore new opportunities to grow.  Pepperdine's programs did that and so much more.  Faculty are all working professionals who bring their experience into the classroom.  This helps by creating a bridge between the curriculum and the real-world work environment.  It's one thing to learn concepts; it's another to develop an actionable plan.  Because of my BSM experience, I was able to add the one-year option to earn my MBA degree through MBAJ.  I've made a number of friends,  many of whom I am still in contact with!

Going back to school to earn an MBA was nerve-wracking but Pepperdine has been extremely helpful in my transition into the program! I've learned so much in such a short time that has already transpired in my life.

Happy working student mom!

I am a current student and enjoy the personal touch I have received from professors and the staff. Additionally, Pepperdine has a unique flavor for ethics and thought leadership, which is an added plus. Students are helpful and engage with one another due to the small classroom size. One of my classmates even hired my mom who is an engineer was lost her position due to Covid-19.

I will forever be grateful for my education, close connection with working professionals, and my new mentors. A  special shout to Dr. G for being the best professor I have had and for mentoring me and believing in me. I am grateful for my personal growth and transformation, Pepperdine is a gem of an institution and I would highly recommend it to friends and family!

I have found this university to be welcoming and driven by a faith-based foundation! Every moment of my experience as a WAVE has been AMAZING. With my undergrad and graduate degree coming from Pepperdine, I feel very equipped to take my career and personal life to the next level!
