I think utm is world class research university, and their all facilities so highly demanable,especially utm chemical engineering  will be good for you,utm is really good university and good ranking university in the world,so I suggest you to get admit here

My experience in UTM

I'm taking and studying Master by taught course under UTM. I'm really quite enjoy and satisfied with my student life over UTM. By the way, master by taught course isn't easy and we almost devote all of our time working in intensive assignment and interesting projects. But I had learnt a lot after all. The UTM wifi now has improve towards UTM Wifi HotSpot with better services and it's available in CICT and PRZS library. The lecturers are nice, knowledgeable and willing to share their research outcomes. Also, UTM have lots of workshop & short term training courses to improve the soft skills among the students. I love the their library system & database and it do have enormous reading materials. UTM also conduct international conference periodically. And all those are the good sides of UTM. 

But the bad side is..... although UTM already have so much precision machine in the lab but it can be upgrade some more because sometimes students need to reserve before they could use the machine especially during peak time before final presentation. And they are still keep on upgrading and import new, latest machinery & technology as i know.

After all, I'm really enjoy.The campus is beautiful, a nice place to sport, gathering with friends, barbecue, even enjoy the lake view during night.

Facilities in UTM

The things that I want to talk about my university is the facilities in UTM. Basically UTM has all the facilities  likes accommodation, bus services in campus, free access to many journal papers or publications through UTM library, indoor stadium for many indoor sports, and many more. However, what I want to mention here is the good side and the bad side of the facilities in UTM. The good side is the accommodation. UTM has many accommodations provide for its students. It has so many until all the undergraduate students are compulsory to stay at UTM hostel. This is good because the hostel fee in UTM is not expensive and a lot cheaper that the house rental outside UTM. If the student does not have its own transport, you have no worry about it because UTM provides bus services where the buses go around hostel and campus every hours in weekdays. Now come the bad side of the facilities in UTM. Bear in mind that every good sides of it will always come the bad sides. The bad side will be location of the hostel located inside UTM. Some of the hostels insides UTM are very far away from any faculty. So if anyone that stay at the most further away hostel and missed the bus to go to their faculty in order to attend a class, it will be a problem because walking to faculty is near impossible (unless you are a marathon athlete which you can jog to faculty). Besides that, since many students are staying at UTM hostel, it is understandable that internet services in UTM is slow. This is because students are heavy movie downloader or youtube streamer, so server in UTM always working in overload condition. Thus internet basically is slow. Only 1 special occasion where the internet will be very fast (really really very fast) is during the mid-semester break and end-semester break. That is the only time where many students have went back home and less students are using the internet.

Lessons are very interesting and the most important thing for me is that you can learn so much about civil engineering in education (theory and practice). It will give you all the foundations you will need for a Bachelor In Civil Engineering

UTM, gain more than you'd ever expect.

To me, being able to enter a tertiary education institution is among the best experiences one could have. College or university is the place where each individual usually discovers his/her true passion in a certain field, while having the liberty to express yourself and your ideas to the world better. UTM has given me that oppurtunity too. My confidence level has also risen up upon studying in UTM.

Life in UTM~

Overall, it is definitely one of the best experience in life here. Located near the big city of Johor Baharu and Singapore, one can never get bored studying here. I think it is the largest in Malaysia. If anyone thinking to study in Malaysia especially in engineering related course, the UTM is definitely the best choice.
