Solent University, based in the UK, is the recipient of the silver teaching excellence award by TEF. Its pathway programmes are fully embedded so that students will be studying their courses on-campus in Southampton, with access to all of the university’s facilities that they can expect for their undergraduate or postgraduate studies. These programmes are delivered as part of a partnership between Solent University and QA Higher Education. Its pathway programmes are The International Year One – Business, and International Foundation Programme which includes subject-specific pathways in business and management, creative industries, and STEM. It makes sure that its graduates are equipped with the hands-on skills and workplace confidence they will need to succeed. 93.9% of its graduates are in employment or further study, six months after completing their courses, according to the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education survey 2016/17.
