Clark University was founded in 1887 as the first all-graduate school in the nation, and continues to pave the way in research and innovation. Today, Clark University promotes a rigorous liberal arts curriculum within the context of a research experience which addresses social and scientific challenges on a global scale.The university’s curriculum approach breaks down barriers and offers an opportunity to examine subject matter from many perspectives. More than 3,000 students are enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs in a wide range of academic disciplines. As a private non-profit research institution, Clark prides itself on being a small university with a large impact, built for future generations.The university is located in Worcester, Massachusetts, New England’s second largest city. Known as ‘the Heart of New England’, the 50-acre campus is lined with trees and grand architecture. The city offers great entertainment, social activities and career opportunities. It takes only one hour to travel to Boston, and New York City can be reached in under four hours by car.
