I initially joined as a BSM student while running my company.  My goal was to bring the best business practices to better manage my team and operation, as well as explore new opportunities to grow.  Pepperdine's programs did that and so much more.  Faculty are all working professionals who bring their experience into the classroom.  This helps by creating a bridge between the curriculum and the real-world work environment.  It's one thing to learn concepts; it's another to develop an actionable plan.  Because of my BSM experience, I was able to add the one-year option to earn my MBA degree through MBAJ.  I've made a number of friends,  many of whom I am still in contact with! show less

Going back to school to earn an MBA was nerve-wracking but Pepperdine has been extremely helpful in my transition into the program! I've learned so much in such a short time that has already transpired in my life.
