Tennessee State University (TSU) is a comprehensive, co-educational, land-grant institution in Nashville, Tennessee, established in 1912. TSU鈥檚 Nashville Home offers two locations: the 500-acre main campus located in a beautiful neighborhood along the Cumberland River and the downtown Avon Williams campus near the center of Nashville鈥檚 business and government district. TSU鈥檚 world-class faculty teach students how to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world situations. The university assists in providing information on financial aid services, fellowships, and scholarships based on eligibility and other rules established by the agencies. TSU is designated as a "high research" institution by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.
