The Biden School offers a combined 4+1 Bachelor of Arts Art History and M.A. in Urban Affairs and Public Policy program that allows students to complete both the BA and the MA on an accelerated basis. All requirements of both degree programs must be satisfied and up to 12 credits of graduate coursework may be dual counted to satisfy requirements of both the BA degree and the MA degree.
Students may apply to the 4+1 BA/MA program after completing 60 credits in the undergraduate degree, which is typically the fall of their junior year. Student must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 and must be enrolled in, or have completed, the introductory course sequence of UAPP 110, UAPP 225, and UAPP 325 by the time they apply to the program.
