What will I learn?

This double degree gives you the opportunity to study science before undertaking dentistry. Designed for high school leavers who have achieved outstanding results, you will study a three-year undergraduate science degree, followed by the four-year Doctor of Dental Medicine. With a deeper understanding of the scientific fundamentals that underpin dentistry, you will graduate prepared for a rewarding career. The Doctor of Dental Medicine offers you the opportunity to develop skills through practice-based learning and will expose you to new dental technologies and research. You will learn to draw on evidence to treat patients effectively and respond to the changing oral health needs in the community. We offer the latest facilities, internationally acclaimed academics and the opportunity for patient care from early in your degree.

Entry requirements

For international students

A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents).

IELTS score: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band

TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 25 in Writing

Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 68 in each band
