Students will cover 10 modules in a 1 year, full-time programme of lectures, seminars, workshops, and master classes.
Learners will develop skills in music and dance 鈥 any genre is welcome.
This qualification not only enhances performance skills, but also opens doors to further study.
Pathway into certain degree programmes 鈥 in the first instance, successful completion of the course to the required standard will enable students to be considered for a place in second year of the full-time undergraduate programmes at the Irish World Academy, University of Limerick.
Criteria for progression will be based on a number of places available as well as relevance of performance and academic achievement on the Certificate.
The Certificate will provide training in music literacy, group playing and arrangement, song and dance, enabling the students to work in a variety of educational contexts, both solo and group.
Dancers will experience ensemble, choreography work and movement awareness.
This programme will develop academic, literacy and presentation skills, important for a wide range of careers.
The Certificate will develop students鈥 current performance abilities and encourage the development of new performance skills including keyboard and composition, leading to the possibility of careers as performers.

Standard XII examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Metro State Boards or Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), with first-division/class standing and a minimum average grade of 70%.
A language other than English and Mathematics must be taken as a subject up to Grade X.
Where there is a specific subject requirement for a specific programme (e.g. Math, Physics, French, etc.), a minimum grade of 70% in that subject at Grade XII is required.
BSc. Nursing Studies
70% in a Diploma in Nursing, plus registration with a State Nursing Board, or equivalent board outside of India, plus at least 1 year鈥檚 work experience in Nursing. 70% is a requirement from the Nursing Department at University of Limerick (UL).
Irish Leaving Certificate English: Ordinary Level Grade D or above
TOEFL: 580 (paper based) OR 90 (internet based)
IELTS: Minimum score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any component
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Minimum score of 61 (with no section score below 59)
