Amazing Experience

I had amazing assistance that IALC provided me with building my academic English skills. Their programs were incredibly helpful, and I couldn't have achieved the level of proficiency I have now without IALC鈥檚 help.

I was particularly impressed with how smooth the admission process was, and how supportive the staff was throughout my studies. Their research skills were also very helpful for my higher education degree, and I was able to score high on English proficiency tests thanks to IALC.

Finally, I really enjoyed being located on the WSU campus in a safe college town with many activities. It was a wonderful experience, and I feel very grateful to have had the opportunity to study with IALC.

recommend this school

When I entered this school as an international student, I had a good bridge program and the professors were very responsible. In the bridge program we learned basic English communication and how to write academic essays, in addition, we learned about the resources available at WSU. This is of great help to my future studies. Now my GPA is above 3.8. I am very grateful for the knowledge this school brought me.

Go Cougs!

Before I started my master鈥檚 program, I studied at IALC which is an intensive ESL program, where I could polish my English and prepare for my program courses. I learned not only language and preparation to enter school but also culture, especially how to adapt to living in a new culture and dealing with problems you may experience as an international student as well as overall information about using the facilities.

Pullman is a small college town, so the local activities involve more relaxing and nature-oriented things than in the city, but it is a very safe town and a good environment to be able to concentrate on your studies.

Before the pandemic, I enjoyed using the library and student Rec center the most, and watching WSU football games was one of my favorite activities.

I think WSU has taken active and appropriate action and expressed awareness on social issues and the ongoing pandemic. I also think that WSU supports and values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

I really recommend WSU for study abroad.

African student with an international study background

I like WSU, more so I love the people I get to meet. it is very lively and energetic. I do feel as though international students need peer counsellors, regardless of their background. These may be in the form of more African/ black psychologists and maybe even more black/ non-white campus police officers. This is unrealistic for sure but I think this would help a lot.
